Very Good
We booked at Queen's for 2 nights and finally extended for one more :) Thanks a lot to a wonderful friendly staff of the hotel, they helped us a lot, special thanks for your surprise for my mum's birthday, she was so happy to get this tasty beautiful cake from you on her day Hotel is very antique and the vintage atmosphere is fantastic. Location is the best, very comfortable to reach Kandy spots from this hotel. Our room was cosy and clean, we had kettle, tea, coffee, water in our room, cleaning was offered daily.
As for me, I would prefer more lighting in the room and a little upgrade, to change some items of furniture to new ones, to make room look fresher but preserving vintage look and definetely to add more bright lamps, lights. I would say that breakfast could be included in this price, as the price pretty high comparing to other Kandy hotels. But we loved our days there and would come back

What was the highlight of Queen's Hotel
Great Location with a grand façade
Stayed 20th Feb 2024. We booked four rooms for one night on our tour of central Sri Lanka. Each room was a different layout and quite spacious. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. We didn't dine there or use the bar so can not comment. The location was the reason for the booking close to everything we wanted to visit.
However the bathrooms need a little a little attention and could look a little more inviting.

The location is fantastic. Pacific travel company within the hotel sorted train tickets and very professional

Beautiful old hotel, loved the ambience and felt relaxed there
Fabulous old hotel, needs a lot of love to be lavished on it and then I am sure it could be restored to its former glory. Location excellent, traffic a bit noisy but what do you expect for city centre. I liked the pool and loved the ambience of the hotel.
Bed was clean and comfortable and had an english film on TV
